hey guys i was just wondering my friend is getting me some pigeons can i mix them with the chickens till i get the coop ready for them

What kind of pigeons? It would be better if you housed them separately from the chickens.

If your coop is large with plenty of room and the pigeons have roosts to get away from the chickens it should be alright for a short period until you get the pigeon's coop ready.

ok one other thing can i clip the pigeons wings so that they do not fly away

Unless your chicken coop is very large and has room to spare do not clip the pigeons until they have their own coop at best. Chickens can be very aggressive towards other birds; without their wing feathers the pigeons will be unable to fly to safety. Flying keeps pigeons in good condition; without flight the wings become weak and the birds will put on unneeded weight.

Sorry, don't quite understand. Explain how the roof can be made into a cage. Maybe a picture.
