Piglets help!

Oats are not good for them, my breeder said, so if for some reason you are tempted to serve Oatmilk, don't. At least for now I wouldn't start there. I said goats milk above because I think cows milk is harder to digest which is why that article said skim milk probably.

If you happen to have skim milk and bottles at home already warm it up and try it, at least it will get them some fluids.

My 9 week old ones LOVE the straw in their doghouse while they cuddle in the cold here.
Thank you!

I’ll have to run to the store tomorrow.
They'll need 3 things constantly; shelter/warmth/a dry spot to be, food and water. The milk is 2/3rds of what they need right now. Once they get past a certain point they won't have the energy or interest in eating and they will die. Sorry to be blunt but if you can't try to get something in them tonight then tomorrow could easily be too late at their age. If it's like lactaid or cashew milk I'd go for it tonight, warmed up so long as it's not too hot for your wrist (palm side). If you have both go for the lactaid, that's better than regular cows milk as it's made to be easier to digest.
FYI it's normal for them to lay on them, that's why the commercial sow pens are small, to keep the piglets alive. Just sharing so you know it's fairly common, they have poor vision so it's hard for them to keep track of them.

My mother raised orphan pigs on an infant formula made from evaporated milk. As I remember she diluted the evap half and half with water and put a little corn syrup in it. They would probably do just fine on milk. Milk. Not oat milk or almond milk, but milk. Look around the internet and see if you can find an infant formula made with evap. For some reason, a lot of babies of many species tolerate canned milk better than fresh milk.

I agree. Piglets need to eat almost all the time. If you don't feed them now or soon, they could very well die. They need milk every few hours. Even overnight. A friend of mine took on piglets and got up EVERY two hours to feed them, no matter what time of day. These piglets need nutrition right now.

I had to look it up earlier but Lactaid is real milk just modified a little. I forgot about the corn syrup trick though, giving them a thick sweet syrup like that should draw their interest into eating, you want to rub a whatever fits on one finger on their gums. If you don't have corn syrup grab some maple syrup or honey, especially if it's the fake stuff since it's mostly corn syrup anyway. Anyway use what you have (hopefully the Lactaid and corn syrup, or if you have the canned milk and infant formula even better) to get them some nutrition. You can figure out what kind of milk replacement options you want to do tomorrow if they make it through the night. I didn't know you could get evaporated goats milk, nice! If you don't know though there's an infant formula shortage nation wide due to a recall so please leave that for the human babies unless you already have a jar going bad in the back of the cupboard for some reason.

Two comments. One, you can get evaporated goat milk, but in this case it probably isn't worth the added expense. Based on personal experience, regular canned milk should work just fine. I fed orphan baby pigs about every two hours. Two, keep in mind that if a baby animal goes too long without food it isn't hungry any more. It goes into ketosis and it will refuse to eat. Sugar will bring it out of ketosis and break the cycle. Corn syrup is best because it can be assimilated by the body as is, but any sugar will help. Put a little in the mouth with your finger. You can also use honey.

I did went to Tractor supply and found some milk replacement for them. But they didn’t want to drink it! They squealing everytime I try to feed them. I have them in a small in close coop with hay to keep them warm. I hope that enough. I’m just praying they will be alive in the morning and I’ll try to feed them again

How are they???
If you don't have bottles or milk replacer on hand I would get to a store ASAP. Did the other three who died have any specific symptoms?
They didn’t eat the replacer, I think I went to long for them to eat. I just read a bunch of helpful comments about giving honey. To break the cycle for them to eat. The other 3 die because the mother didn’t let then access to her nipple because she refused to move for them.
