I have a yorkshire...about 5 months old. He was a MESS when I got him tho. Wasn't castrated, never wormed, and was fed dog food!
I have had him about 2 weeks now, and when I got him, he was about 40, maybe 50 pounds. He is now well over 100 pounds. No worms..and castrated. I feed him dry hog feed....ear corn..to keep him busy when I fill his feed bucket, and scraps from the kitchen. I read on a web site somewhere, if you feed them too many kitchen scraps, they will smell like a septic. I think they were referring to the people that get lots of scraps from resteraunts. I am hopeing to butcher early November...looking forward to that first Christmas Ham! Yummmm.
We gave ours a kiddie pool...and use rubber bowl for feed. He throws it around some.....I am going to build a good trough this weekend. I will try to get pics as I go.
Oh, that trough he is eating from...was quickly outgrown, and torn up from him throwing it around. LOL
