I went to check on my two silkies yesterday just before dark because they are...you guessed it...BROODY again.
Anyway, we here in San Diego are getting ready for this "big storm" that is supposed to be on its way. It's going to be rain, windy and cold (purely relative...here, 50 is cold) so I wanted to add some fluff for them to hunker down in. I feel guilty for leaving them out side in the coop.
I got growled at and pecked for my effort so I just piled it around them. They didn't seem to mind so I piled it on top too.
Now they are just a pile of shavings with two chicken heads sticking out! too funny.
They just mumbled at me and went to sleep.
I told my Wife and laughed, She says they will crap on my shoes when they get out and about again.
