Pilgrim Eggs In The Incubator!

I just set 10 Pilgrim goose eggs in the incubator. Am following @pete55's guide to hatching geese...it worked well for me when I hatched my Chinese goose eggs last year. I'm in an incubating frenzy! It's spring, temps are nice, and eggs are hatching!

Wish me luck...looking forward to having goslings following me around again.

Good luck with hatching your geese. I know how much I love little goslings. I have no reason to, but every year I hatch a couple of geese. Actually, I have some in my own incubator right now, set to hatch next week.

I completely agree and since people always seem willing to buy them, I don't see why not. And don't worry, I'll keep you in the "loop" so to say about the future goslings

A couple more days to first candling...hang in there. You know there will be an update.

Best way to do it (if they're committed), IMO! Of course, I need an adult goose before that can happen here, so maybe in the next couple of years...

You’ll most likely have no trouble getting a goose to hatch eggs they love sitting hatching and raising their goslings my gander before I got him a female goose was papa goose to any ducklings we hatch here.
