Pilgrim Geese breeder recommendation?

Thanks. I used wrong terminology. We have been discussing which area for the Pilgrims (should we choose to move forward). We want it to be near the pond. I think we might lightly fence of their area but all would still have access to the pond. If we ever have more brown African geese- it won't be for a couple years. So just the two for now and they will be housed right next to our house. They've adopted a patch a green in a total opposite area of where we'd likely put the new geese.
Does anyone know if Pilgrim geese fly?
A chicken seems to dress out about 1/3 less of its live weight. Is that about what a goose will do? So a 12 lb goose may dress to about 7-8 pounds?
Excuse my typos. Sent from my iPhone.

I would imagine that Pilgrims can fly since they are smaller on average than Buffs. I have read that Buffs can fly during their first year. My gander can't get off the ground anymore, only my goose. She flew over the fence yesterday. Wing clipping today!

I am in N. Cal. I have Pilgrims from Metzer. I got two pair in April. They were healthy. They sell out quick. If you want to buy from them you need to email them and get put on the waiting list.
I am hoping to have babies in the spring. I am located in Red Bluff. I know a few other people that should also have babies in the spring, so you could pick up two breedable lines.

My brown africans like to glide down to the pond. Since it's downhill. The ducks even the Pekins will glide down there too. But none of my ducks have ever tried to hop a fence or fly away. They like to stay on the pond all day long pretty much.

I raise only pilgrims. I've sold my extra adults already for this year. I should have goslings for sale in the spring. I really love that they can be auto sexed. They are very calm, quiet and friendly. They follow us around and will sit right next to us. Really good with my young children. They respect us very much. I've owned several breeds of geese over the past several years and pilgrims are my favorite. They do not fly, though they certainly try. They are a medium sized goose, but still too heavy to really get off the ground
