Some of my cabbage got hit with bugs before I could put sevin dust on them so rather than let them go to waste I have been hanging them up and letting the chickens eat them. Turns out they really like it. I guess it's an activity and gives them something to do as well as feeding them.

Maybe someone will find this useful.
