Pine branches

[chicken stalker]

I know this has been discussed before but I've searched and can't find it. I just got my xmas tree...I want to give my chickens the branches to peck at....It was just hemlock that was poisonous right? I have a Fir.

My five "psycho ee's" as I lovingly call them, live in a white pine tree next to my coop. They are healthy enough that I can't catch them so I'd guess it is safe. I doubt they'd peck at the branches though unless there are bugs in there. Roost on them maybe.
