OyVey!! Yeah, I cut it off as soon as I find it, then usually have to clean my and off with turpentine

Huh...but turpentine is faster and I don't waste peanut butter..but I guess if you don't have turpentine it might be a good solution.

Gas. Baby oil, nail polish remover all help to remove tree sap..Some work better than others.

Turpentine is the best because, well, it's made from pine so it truly 'solves' it...
....of course getting the turpentine off your hands is another story. pewstinky.
