Pine Straw as bedding

Does anyone use this? Can I get my own from pine trees in my yard? Anything I should be aware of first? Pros and cons? Thanks in advance!

Dunno for sure...

But you would have to ensure that it was dry and not decomposing. I would wonder about it's absorbency.

It's a good question as anyone with a pine tree can tell you there's a bunch under each tree.

hi, thats all i use, works very well!! ive used it for over a year with no problems. just make sure its dry.
