Originally I am from California with NZ heritage from my Mother's side of family...
....so we moved to New Zealand in 2008 and we are loving it. I had a ranch in Calif. where I raised everything from horses to chickens and all in between...here I kept up with the chickens. They are crazy priced here...I sell mine cheap as and do just fine! I personally love the Light Sussex chicken.

I noticed a mix of wordings from the UK and US cultures, but it didnt seem quite UK enough.
Australia always gets the second guess because of size, but NZ has some of the best people I have met.

Enjoy your time over there and I hope that I'll get to visit NZ before too long. A few people wanted me to go visit.
Had talked about settling there, but don't think I can afford it now.
