He looks healthy to me. Let me tag someone I know has experience with cockerels and roosters.

He's definitely a slow maturing cockerel. I've had some take forever to get Saddles, & I've also had super fast maturing cockerels, that get Saddles in as early as 5½ - 6 - 8 weeks of age.

Then I've had the average that saddle around 4-6 months.

Looks like a pullet with hormone imbalance.

This looks like a pullet to me, not a cockerel.

There's some pointy Saddles, just short, & lightly mixed in. Reason why I said pullet with hormone imbalance.

No I didn't mention it I feed them a mix of whole maize and full flock mix but it's not impossible that they jumped the fence and ate some of my pullet's crushed maize and layer feed mix

How can i be sure if it is that. We don't have a avain vet near us so we treat our chickens ourself
