pink face?

This is my 6 week old Buff orpington. In the last few days, her(?) face has been getting really pink like this. Is this normal? If not, what do you think might be going on?

Your "pullet" is most likely a cockerel. The comb and emerging wattles take on a distinctive red hue around this age on the boys.
