Pinless peepers- no choice - but problem

I have to resort to pinless peepers. Half my flock is bald. I’ve had them tested for depluming mites and they have no mites of any kind.

I separated the two that I thought might be plucking feathers. I have no roosters. But they are still getting worse and worse.

(Started in December, I know it was vent peeling because they’re were huge open wounds). Now they don’t wound eachother, just pull feathers.

All the peepers I’ve ordered have the bits that go into their nostril that are so long they touch. That’s going to poke holes in their septums. I don’t get the point of pinless when the part that goes into their nostrils touch eachother.

I hate to do this to them but have tried EVeRythjng else. Does anyone have peepers that are better than what you get off amazon?

Have you made sure their diet is sufficient?
The pinless peepers shouldn't wound them, can you trim the ends?

Thank you. Yes, they are on Kalmbach Flock Maker and get scrambled eggs once a week and get black soldier flies daily.

I tried trimming the peepers and they shook them off when I tried them on

Am searching site for more info on the 'pinless peepers', but cannot find info I'm seeking. Would like to know what they are & used for? Hopefully do not need them, but would like to have the knowledge, for a "just in case" scenario.
