@HeatherLan - it is a toss up. But a bird being pecked mercilessly is not fun either. The other option is culling the bully.

I agree that’s why I went for them for my girls because we had one injury and lots of missing feathers on some of ours. But I’m heart broken by the damage it caused to most. Some aren’t so bad but I’ve attached a picture of the one hen with the worst damage.
