Pintail Nest Box Ideas

I have 3 pairs of North American Pintails on my pond, they are all pinioned as well. Do they take to nest boxes or hen houses? Any ideas on what to have for them or what to build?

This is what mine use. One is a lttle bin upside down and you can uce shavings straw or hay.I prefer hay. bump up their protien prior to laying season and during. Good luck

I had three pair and all avoided the nest boxes and chose ground nests under bushes and one out in the open next to the pond in the aviary! Good luck this nesting season!
