It looks to me as if the lighter colored pioneer roosters are growing out the best

I bought 12 Murray mc Murray pioneers last year!wow giants,three of them went lame at 9Lb.They were delicious, kept three 7 lb.hens and 1male!they bred,were fertile and produced a male super broiler,two weeks old now!dad by the way is a Ten lb. multi barred buff pioneer!

Im about to acquire a freedom ranger to breed this pioneer superbroiler to....who else here is successfuly breeding pioneers and rangers?

The lighter pioneers blew up and went lame at 16 weeks,3 of them!

Meyers hatchery has them in stock and so does freedom ranger hatchery. Anyone know anything on either of those?
