Pip - then nothing

Thanks so much you guys, the pip just got a lot bigger in the last 30 minutes (I'm really trying not to look that often) . I always forget how stressful it is.

He hatched! He is really weak, I haven't really looked at him too close because the other egg pipped last night and I don't want to open the incubator. He's a little sticky and really tired. Tries to lift his head but it really wears him out. Hope it's normal.

The second one is almost out! I can't believe how much quicker he is. The first one is making a lot of noise - little squeaks. I think it's helping its brother out.

Waiting is the hardest thing and you did it and look what you have. I think sometimes we are in just to big of a hurry and want to help them and that's where we get into trouble. Congrats on you prizes, how fun. They are always weak in the beginning and pretty soon they will be running around and peeping at you. .

I'm so glad this forum is here. I learn every day and geese are so different than ducks or chickens. Last night I saw pictures of Jordan Familys two new sebbies and thought there was something wrong with mine. This morning I got them out of the incubator and they fluffed up real nice (except their heads). Then I thought they would never learn to walk - they were hopping like little frogs. Now they're beautiful (well at least I think so) and almost walking perfectly. Wow Lamar Estate 10 more days! You'll have to post pics and I hope you have a lot of patience - you'll use it all up and then people on here will give you more.

Thanks so much all of you - I'm so happy with my little squeakers.
