Pip to hatch

I had my first pip today which is day 19 for my clutch. I noticed the pipping about 2 hours ago. How long does it typically take to see progress or hatch from this point. I am a worried/impatient momma hen at this point

It typically takes 12 to 18 hours after pipping but can take a lot longer. Since it is just day 19 I wouldn't be surprised if it took a day and a half. This is where it is mighty hard to have patience. So just go to bed and hopefully you'll have a chick tomorrow!

Awesome thanks! And right now my humidity is at appx 60% should it be higher?

My incubator recommend 55 to 65% for hatching. So you're perfect!

My pip hatched last night and I woke up this morning to 2 babies!! I have another peeper so I'm expecting at least 1 more today!!!

Wonderful! How many eggs do you have in the incubator?

I set 12. 2 never developed at all I don't think they were even fertile. I have 2 hatched 1 pipping and 4 other peeping and this is day 20

Sounds like you might have a good hatch.

I have 27 fertile eggs in the incubator due to hatch next Monday. Can't wait!

And I'm a sucker headed to the supply stuff for my babies and they had just for a shipment in and you know I left with babies. Oooops
