Pip, Zip, HATCH!! Pics Added!!

After picking up my sister from the airport this morning, I peek in the 'bator to see this:

Six pips total. And 2 are on our shipped Cochin eggs!! With the last candling, we were down to 5 from 15 shipped, so I'll be happy for any to hatch, roo or not!
I'll update when I get some baby action.
These are early pips, it's day 19. Humidity simply says High%, LOL. I hope it's not too high.

Woo hoo!!! WTG on the pips!!

12 PIPS!!! And tons of noise and rocking. The hygrometer suddenly began reading a pecentage instead of just saying HIGH%, and it's at 82%. Is this too high? There's not much I can do either way.

Looks like I might have a bit more luck with this hatch. Keeping my fingers crossed, tho'.

Well, now 13 pips and a hatched baby!!

And was out in a matter of a minute:

I even got a video of it! It's crappy quality because of digital sucks up close or dark, which it was both, but you can see it here. The only audio is me whistling it out, and it peeping back.


So, I'm off to press my nose to the bator window again!!

Well, four are out, including a cute, fuzzy footed Cochin, and there are 13 more pipped.

I'm off to bed. Hopefully I'll wake up to a bunch of new fuzzy butts.

Got up to 11 babies cuddling together in the bator this morning. I'll try to get some pics after I get coffee going.
