pip, zip or crack!?

I'm a little confused I have 7 eggs that have pIpped today (day 20) but out of those 7 it seems like the one just cracked the

shell and hasn't actually Pipped. Should I do any thing or just sit on my hands? It's been about five hours.

Sit on your hands. Sometimes a pip will look like a hairline crack for quite a while before the chick punches out a bit of shell.

Yep, wait it out. It could also be a better pip than you have a good angle to see too. It amazed me to look at one from one side and it looks like nothing, but then from the other side its quite obviously broken. 7 on day 20, good deal, looks like you are in for a fun evening! Good luck!

About half of mine from the last hatch looked like that when they started.

Thanks y'all I've been sitting on my hands. First two pip at the same time around 4 today. Left for two hours to take my dog swimming and came back to 4 more

I'm so excited. No one rocked or even made any noise. So I am hoping to hear some tonight.
