Pipd's Peeps!

Pics
Well congrats and it really looks nice.  Lots of room and very secure.  Now that you have all that experience you can come and build me one.  Just joking I bet your glad this is behind you now.  You can sleep later that is a blessing in itself.  Every morning when I wake up I say oh boy the ducks and chickens need to be fed and let out.  No sleeping late when you have birds that depend on you.

Get some rest and thank you for the update and pics.

Thanks! Haha, you'll have to take up the building with my mom--all I did was hang the wire on the outside and hold things in place while she measured and attached. ;)

I actually had a hard time sleeping last night and jolted awake early today. I guess I'm cautious about trusting it just yet! But the girls seemed happy to have some breathing room this morning before I got up, and I'll bet they were especially glad that I refilled a water bucket and left it on their porch for them so that they had something to drink first thing rather than having to wait on me to open the coop for the morning! Sigh... I just wanted to sit out there all morning and admire it now that it's finally done... Too bad I had class this morning.

Wow it looks really nice! It's nice to have somewhere for the birds to go and not worry about hawks. I have a similar run and I can tell you it is so nice to be able to walk inside of it. And definitely put in the perch. I have one in the corner of my run and the birds love to hang out up there. Good luck back at school!

It is so nice, and good timing as well because we have had a juvenile red-tailed hawk flying over and crying, I'm assuming because mom and dad just gave him the boot and stopped feeding him. Here's hoping he figures out how to hunt something other than chickens. :fl

There's definitely going to be a perch put in. Mom and I talked about it this afternoon while we were sitting on the deck. :D I think the babies will appreciate it, if nothing else--those big girls are so mean sometimes!

Oh boy, I had physics this morning and I think I'm going to need all the luck I can get. :th Yikes! On the positive side, organic chem doesn't seem too bad... yet? Anyway, thanks for the luck! :)

Yikes. Physics was my worst class ever in high school, and I'm dreading having to take in again in college. Let me know how organic chem is. I've heard mixed opinions and it's another class I have to look forward to in the next few years. If it makes you feel any better, I start college in 3 days so I'll be suffering too. Haha. But truthfully, you seem invested in your studies and I'm sure you'll do great!

I don't think you'll need any luck for the physics you will understand it. I don't even know what physics is.

Good luck anyway.

Have a great day I've done some housework and I am getting ready to take a nap.

Oh, good luck getting started in college! Honestly, I was terrified when I started, but once I got in there it wasn't so bad. I've had a few tough classes, but overall nothing I couldn't do. At least so far.

This is my first Physics class ever, so it's been pretty scary. However, after lecture yesterday I do feel a bit better about it. I just need to review my math so that I can keep up with it and I think I'll get by. Lab is a whole other beast, and from the sounds of it I managed to pick the harder grader of the two TAs for it. :he Organic lecture hasn't been bad at all, but lab for it has me terrified as well. We went over our glassware and supplies yesterday and went through a whole 2-hour-long safety and protocol lecture, no experiments this week. I guess next week I'll know how screwed I am there!

Physics is basically an extra evil math-like class that is required for certain majors even when it won't ever be used later on in them, basically there to make students as miserable as possible. I think that about covers it, haha! Thanks for the luck! :) I'm jealous of your day, wanna trade?

Well physics sounds like a bummer to me. I don't know why they would require it and you never have to use it. I took geometry and that was very hard for me. I did pass tho by the skin of my teeth. My favorite class was biology. I loved that. I tried to take biology 2 but I couldn't because I had to have chemistry first and I guess they thought I would flunk out of chemistry they wouldn't let me take it. The only class I flunked was shorthand. My mind just went blank when they dictated the words. I even took it in adult education and I still couldn't get it. I don't think it was meant to be so I gave up on that.

How are all the chickens doing? I bet you miss them when you have to go to school.

Have a great day.

For the same reason that Biostats is required, because some of the people with my major will use it. These are things that would come in handy if I were to do lab work, experiments, or studies, and then write research papers on them for consideration of academic and scientific journals like Nature, The Journal of Zoology, The American Naturalist, etc. Thing is, I absolutely hate writing reports--can't see myself doing that for a living. But, others with my major will go on to do so, so I'm stuck taking these classes because of them. :tongue If only they had a more specific field for people who just want to raise chickens and learn about animals.

The girls are fabulous as always! I think they like coming out on their new deck first thing in the morning for a drink and some fresh air. I do miss them so much every day, though. Every morning this week, all I've wanted to do is open the coop and just sit out there on the deck all morning... I've had to make do with sitting out with them as soon as I get home from class. The weekend can't get here soon enough!

Thank you! I leave tomorrow morning actually (3:30 am

). And I always hated physics labs. They were very difficult and boring to me. I don't even see how physics is required for me major but those money sucking grad schools force you to take it anyways. And haha good luck with your lab. I'm sure you will be fine. Good to know the lecture isn't too bad (well at least for you haha).

Are you enjoying your weekend? Around here everyday is the weekend when your retired. That's a bummer because there isn't any weekend to look forward too.

I think I'm going to my sisters house tomorrow to get in her pool. I hope it doesn't rain but I think it is predicted.

Have a great day.

Oh, yes, yesterday was nice! No running around to classes, no excess thinking... I took a 'day off' yesterday to relax with my girls and reboot from the week, though, so I have to do homework today. :sick

Have fun! :)

And it's a little late now, but good luck to you, too, Shadow Rabbit!! :D

I'm glad you got to take the day off and just enjoy relaxing. I hope you don't have to much homework.

Enjoy your day.
