Hello, everyone! Well, the semester is officially over! My grades should come in in the next few days, but it looks like it was an all A semester.
Anyway, to celebrate, here's a bunch of pictures I took today!

And I do mean a bunch!! I took the time to get individual pictures of the kids, too. The silkied Cochins are 7 months old, the Mottleds and Dorks just under 7 months, and the Marans are just over 9 months old.
First, the silkied Cochins. Here's Roxy:
Russell:
Rufus:
Mottled Cochins! Bryony:
Ida:
Sylvie:
Vira:
Jasper:
My sweet Silver Gray Dorkings.

Kita:
This girl's growing SPURS!
Myrna--The only one that posed effortlessly and somehow I didn't get a shot of her that was in focus.
And the Marans. Here's Josephine, who continues to earn the nickname JOSEFIEND!
Mavis:
Vivienne:
Hoo, boy, there are a lot more! First, here's Ida being adorable.

She may or may not have laid her first egg today. I found two identical eggs in the nests tonight, both looking like Vira's, but obviously only one could belong to her. Ida sleeps up in the rafters, so I'll have to check her vent and bone structure tomorrow to confirm.
Jasper again. I couldn't decide which picture I liked more of him. He's such a brat, but at least he hasn't attacked me yet.
Nadine, mama to the three Marans girls above. This was the first time that I've ever gotten such a good picture of her without a fight! Usually, she either moves just right so that she's blurred or her head, feet, or tail is outside of the frame!
"You wanna make something of it?!" Yeah, I guess Josephine gets it honest.
In the spirit of the month, here are two French hens. Oh, wait.

Reinette and Nadine are best buds, and they even hang out with Nadine's kids.
Reinette the Wheaten Marans, in a rare moment of interest in me.
Mavis. This is what I deal with every time I crouch down to take their pictures.
Cazzie Cochin says, "OI!"

She was standing at my feet so expectantly.
Cressida, one of my lovely Easter-eggers
Good ol' Dym-Dym! Her beard grew in so nicely!
Merlin, the oldest Easter-egger in the flock and one of the oldest birds, along with the Wyandottes. I love her eyes!
Indigo the super round Black Silkie.
Reuben, my main flock man! I hardly ever get good pictures of him, either!
Rowena being curious

Oh, those big eyes!
Check out Tessa! She's looking pretty slick these days!
A close up of Flury Floofle-Poofles, my super squishable Splash Cochin
And finally, Cazzie again, being super serious!
Now that that's out of my system...

I guess that's it for now.
Oh, one last tidbit, regarding my last post. I did find out that Myrna is NOT the one laying the big white eggs! Echo came back into lay and I caught her in the act of laying one the other day. Usually, the Dark Gray Dorkings have more tinted eggs, so it must be a matter of the size of it or something? Anyway, I'm now not entirely sure of Myrna is even laying yet or not. She has checked out the nests and I have found the occasional smaller white egg, so maybe?
