Pipped egg not moving. Help please!!

Today I saw that one of our due eggs had a pip crack in it. Later on it got a little bigger. The egg wasn't moving and their were very faint chirps. It was because the chick had pipped at the top of the egg. The shell piece was covering the pip hole. I got very anxious so I took the shell piece off the hole. After it still wasn't moving. Is it resting or is it dead? Please help if you can.

How long since it pipped? If less than 24 hours, it’s most likely resting. Just let it do it’s thing. Hopefully it has hatched by now.
