Pipped egg not progresssing

I have a button quail egg that started pipping yesterday. The baby never broke through the egg and it’s only in one small spot. It’s been about 24 hours now. What should I do?

This is also the 21 day of incubation for them one hatched yesterday and another today now I’m waiting on the pipped one.

I would try to give it a braething hole then wait a few hours to see if its still alive and has made any progression.

I would be patient, I had a Swedish flower hen egg that pipped but stopped, it hatched out close to two days later. But it was bleeding when it came out, I just left it in there till it fully fluffed out and the wound healed.

I made a breathing hole but it smells really bad I can see his feathers but I’m assuming he didn’t make it. Which really sucks bacuse my third one just drowned in his water dish
