Hello 😊
I have an egg that pipped on the bottom of the egg last night after being fumbled around the incubator by a hatchling. I’ve turned the egg so it’s right side up, but there hasn’t been much progress at all today. The chick will cheep and is moving around a bit, but when do I know if I need to intervene?

It disorients them to move them after pip, they have to get back in hatching position. Wait at least 24 hours with no progress before you assist. If you assist any sooner, there will be unabsorbed yolk and blood veins. Here's the guide to assisted hatching for you to read while you wait.
