Pipped last night, no progress

I agree with you on that. I helped out one last year and he is a beutiful roo. ony problem is he is smaller then the rest and black and white. He is very sweet though. We will see what happens with these guys

Buffy, the kids named HER already, just hatched. Buff Orpington, she very loud, active and drying off. She's already starting to bowl with the other eggs. More pips every time I look. Wet chicks are not pretty, and she sat in first green poo. I'm so excited!

Now, the real trick is leaving them in there until they ALL hatch. Sending hatching fairy dust your way. Good luck.

One buff orp, one RIR and one bin to keep them contained in the bator. Little Miss Buffy keeps heading for the fan and the wires and the water (she's wet again so she found it, but it's only 1/4 inch deep). Lots more pips, rocking, and peeping, the silkies seem to be taking their time. Its exciting! The kids are naming them as they pop, or even sooner. Dh is in for a surprise, the cats are curious, they keep looooking at the bator. They can't figure out what all the noise is. We have another errand to do, and then will start getting the brooder set up.
