Only 6 more to go! 5 Hamburgs and 1 Serama. One has pipped, can't see anything on the others yet, but it's only day 20, so not worried.
I had to help that last chick out. He pipped and then nothing for a long time. The membrane was hard and dry by the time we helped him. The poor little dude was so HUGE that I don't think he could move enough in the shell to do the job himself. Seems happy and active now though ... even though he still has a bit of shell stuck to him since I left him in the bottom half of the shell ... I just zipped it and opened it up. Yolk sac and everything was absorbed, but the poor thing sure was stuck! Hopefully none of the others have as much trouble. I am scared to open the bator to help them, but don't want them to die either when they are obviously in distress.
