Pipped with gunk

Help! Woke this morning to what I thought was a pip. What’s the gunk? Is this a bad egg?

It's difficult to tell from the photo, but is the pip on the wrong end of the egg? What was the humidity during incubation?

Yes I think it might be at the wrong end!
the humidity during incubation has been about 40% that was upped to 60-65% on day 17 (these are bantams).

With a wrong end pip, chicks can sometimes hatch unassisted, but it can also be a problem for them. This article has more info about it and how to assist. I'd make sure its beak is at the pip and that it can get air. Best of luck!
