Pippin ain't easy! Day 23 and nothing is happening.

Yes, without a fan circulating, the temp is recommended a little higher, so that would cause a delay. Give them a few more days. And update us pleeeeze!

I am in the same boat as you! Day 23 with 12 viable eggs and no signs of pippin' yet
This is my first hatch too and I am thinking my temps have been ever so slightly low so hence the longer hatch. *Fingers crossed* that's what it is and we will have a successful hatch yet!

Today is day 25 and I took them out to candle them again. They are still moving a little but I can see that they are very big now. I can still see healthy veins near the air sac. No internal pips. I don't know what to think!
Do they ever get so big that they can't move around enough to hatch? Poor things! I don't think I have the heart to do this again.

Still nothing! I've stared at the eggs so long that I'm not sure if they are twitching slightly or if I've become delusional!
If they are this late, will they be deformed and sickly?
Is there a time when I'm supposed to give up on them? I mean, they are still alive in there as of this morning.

I opened two up. One was dead with deformed feet. The other was alive but small and had a tough rubbery membrane around it. I feel terrible that I killed it. It also had a really big yolk, like it may have had two. I have a pic, but it's graphic so I don't know if I should post it.
