lol ook at them all it is like a moshpit in their, im just wondering how many parents are going to be mad cuz their kids snuck to stay up all night to watch these chicks, dont go gettign yourself in trouble now

Bock Bock, I stayed up too late myself watching!.....I think I saw a fourth one pop out and then I fell asleep...gotta get there early today and count noses, uh, beaks!

Its like a liveing carpet of fuzz in there, makes me worry about the poor little egg thats trying to hatch could you imagine being born while people play soccer with you

Ok I see there in the brooder now? How many hatched? Are the other eggs showing signs yet? Im dying for an update.

Whew!!!! It's been a long day.....we had 7 out this morning and during the day 2 more hatched....then toward the end of the day I helped one while I was putting the others in the fish tank and left him in the incubator and 1 hour later another one hatched! So we are 11/13 from eggs shipped from Arkansas to South La....not bad!

The kids have been GLUED to the side of the bator all day long....and I even had 3 3rd grade classes walk over to the jr. high to see them "in person"...They were all such sweet little faces...and asked very good questions.... Thanks to you all for the moral support!!!!

And who knows there might be two more soon sometimes I read there are latebloomers.

That is so neat that you did that in your classroom. I wish I had seen them hatch last night but I didn't find this site til today :-(
Congrats on your baby chicks. Will you be keeping them yourself when they pack their bags and graduate from school? lol
