pipping but no zipping...

Today is day 23...I think I will pull the hatched chicks out and candle the rest to see. Thanks for the input!
 
I still do not know if I can candle a pipped duck egg. It pipped at 3.30 pm yesterday then a little more at 9 pm last night now nothing. Can I candle at 4pm today to see off all ok???!
