Pipping on the narrow end of the egg

My first batch of bourbon red is currently hatching, and one of the birds has started pipping in the lower portion of the egg as opposed to near the top. It stuck its beak out saturday, and is still alive, but has not progressed. At what point should I intervene? It is currently day 27 and there are others which are hatched out, hatching, and not started hatching yet. Humidity 77, temp 99

I always take that piece of shell away and make a hole big enough watch his beak inside. I keep that humidity high to 80 to 85 temp at 100 don't drop it like you do for chicks. I had one sit around for day 30 I finally got in there and seen where his wing was dried to the inner membrane and helped him get free and out. If he's on day 27 give him time they get to a certain point and start testing your patience but if that yolk aint sucked up he'll come out in a bind. Just watch his beak you'll see him move occasionally he's fine in there he knows when he needs to come out.

I'm also hatching a pile of reds in the next week. I'm not real impressed with this hatchery color red it's more of a buff look to me I'm wanting some with the bold dark mahogany color to them but not having any luck finding those yet.
