Today is day 20 and I have one egg pipped (this is my first hatch). However, it has pipped on the underside of the shell (it pipped in the right end, just not on the upper part of the shell). Is this normal and will it be okay? I hear it peeping from time to time and see movement. I know y'all probably get tired of answering stupid newbie questions, so sorry if this has been asked a zillion times before (I searched and couldn't find anything)...

I guess I was worried for nothing. The baby has now zipped and there were four of us - me and my 3 adult kids - all plastered in front of the 'bator for a while!

Yeap, as long as they pip on the right side (the thick end) they´ll be fine. I have also had several pip from the narrow end and they always get out fine too, at least so far. Good luck and congratulations.
