Sometimes it takes a while before the zip. It has to absorb the yolk.

Have patience. It takes awhile to zip all around the egg, while confined in such a small area. Hatching is hard work for the tiny chicks and they rest a lot in between any effort.

Yes I have 3 healthy looking chicks had to help 1 4th one showing no signs of pipping quickly candled and has air pocket and dark ?
