yes! I'm a total fan of bearded birbs, I secretly call them santa claus chickens, hehe.

ALSO....My d'uccle silkie mixes just laid their first eggs at twenty something weeks old!

That's good!! The roosters are actually super sweet, they don't get the typical rooster hormonal kick, so you'll possibly make them a great kid friendly lap rooster for someone!!

Okay so I forgot to do the 4wk update on Friday! But I'll do it next week. Over the weekend I moved them to the MEGA BROODER!

(I did move that roost somewhere else!)

They turned 1 month yesterday.
So far, Nutmeg is the only definite roo. But I'm worried, Peanut's comb is tall, but still spikey.
Noodles is the definite pullet! Which is great because she is such a sweet chick!

Their tails are sort of upright, like japanese bantams.. so i wouldn't worry about that aspect. Exciting!!
