Unfortunately, across the pond! I may try to get some prior to my move. Along the thoughts of teenie tiny.. have you see the super cute fancy footed pigeons? They look like mini D'uccles mixed w a polish.. i wonder if they can see

So i have my 2 D'uccles.. who are besties.. Elsa is a bantam cochin.. i think she needs a cochin friend.. but any further chickens will be polish varieties. Ugh. Stupid pond in the way of sharing chicks!!

What loving mamas!! My poor cochin is having her first broody spell.. she wants to be a mama too!

I wanted to share the flock schedule so here it is...
NOTE: If it is raining, the flock isn't let out.
ANOTHER NOTE: by free-range I mean letting them free in my garden
Btw / means anywhere in between these times

Weekdays
0600- auto coop door opens
0630/0645- let out to free range
0800- put back inside before I leave
1600- let out after I return home
1900- put back inside before dark
2000- Pippin, Blue and chicks go in before it gets cold
2130- chickens go in to sleep
2200- auto door closes

Weekends
0600- auto door opens
0800/0900- let out to free range
Free ranges until...
1900- put back inside before dark
2000- Pippin, Blue and chicks go in before it gets cold
2130- chickens in to sleep
2200- auto door closes

That's the regular schedule. There are exceptions- like if it rains the chickens don't go out. If no one is at home the chickens always have to go back in. If I have a day off and stay home, the chickens can free range all day
