So I think I need to buy a new flashlight, any suggestions?

I have a headlamp and the light on my phone, but both have quite a bit of leakage when trying to candle an egg. Also if I use the light on my phone then I can’t easily take any candling photos for you!

I have a 700 lumen LED flash light. It works so well! Ducks geese and chicken eggs have not been a match. It is about 8" long and 1" diameter so it's really easy to get a good light seal with my forefinger and thumb.

Yes nothing less than 500.
I prefer the smaller flashlights too.

@PirateGirl This mentioned seal is important.
You have to block the leakage... I use my fingers too.

@chickens really this is why I am asking! I don't really wanna mess with them more than necessary as much as I'm curious if anything is developing I want to wait to candle until I can be certain one way or the other
