I called Cackle and ordered my chicks.
I'm getting 8 Buff Orpingtons, and 7 California Whites. That will get me started.
I'm still planning on picking up a few from Tractor Supply when they get theirs in.
Only downside is they are so backed up, the earliest hatch date I could get is April 9th with an expected delivery of April 11.
But on the plus side that's the same time frame Tractor supply gave me for their chicks.
I'm planning on getting a few RIR from them. I had to get some white egg layers for the wife, she wont eat brown eggs. I know I know, but what are you going to do.
