Planning a trip to Kansas City

Not sure if this is where this should go, so if its wrong could you move it moderators?


Planning on a trip to KC at the end of July and was wondering if there are any chicken/egg keepers/sellers along the way or in the area?

Will come down on I-29 from SD (at least as much as we can).

Would greatly appreciate any info etc.

I am in North Central Missouri, but try going here https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=73271 There are several on there in and around the KC area. Enjoy your visit in Missouri!! Let me know how much of I-29 is open, we are going to Montana in September and would like to take that route.

From what I know of I-29 its clear from Missouri Valley north.

Sounds like in Omaha is where most of the problems are at.

Think Sioux City is clear from what Ive heard.

Only place on I-90 that might be bad is at Chamberlain.

I've not had a chance to try a ton of BBQ in KC, but I do love Arthur Bryant's! What part of KC are you going to be in if I may ask?

over by the KC Chiefs football stadium I guess.

The wife and daughter are going to go drool over Kenny Chesney.

That leaves me and the youngest to go wander.............

you can see if anything is going on at the american royal livestock arena that weekend. it is massive.
