I'm looking into starting a coop for 4-6 hens. First stop is the North Richland Hills,TX Code office and see if this is even possible. A friend sent me a video of a group called "Coops for Troops" a non profit group that is involved with combat Veterans that have PTSD. I was raised near Lake Worth when it was "Country" and we always had an assortment of animals, including chickens, horses,
and several goats. I found this site thru Pinterest (Linked to a gardening site) I will update progress on my plan, Looking forward to input & advice from other members that are "Urban" farmers.

Hi and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us.

There’s a link on the page above to the Learning Centre - it’s a great resource. If you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

Each week, various topics are discussed, which can also be a great resource - https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/topic-of-the-week-thread-archive
