Plans for Outdorr nesting spots for ducks?

Does anybody out their have a good idea what would make a good outdoor place for rouen ducks to lay eggs? i don't got enough wood to build one to put in the other room of my coop.

Well, my runners make their own nest spots right in the night pen, where they are all safe and sound and protected. I just give them clean bedding and they pile it up around themselves.

About a third of the time, someone just lays an egg on the bedding on the floor, no nest.

I would not make a nest area outside, I just cannot stand the thought of a predator getting one of my ducks.

I have four dogs and 3 guns so i ain't to worried about predators, but thanks for the idea!
