I always play nice, at least on this board. I don't know about Boss, but my posts to him are sprinkled with a heavy dash of friendly ribbing. I can't get too worked up over anything he says, since I don't much take it personally.
Or seriously, for that matter.
Glad to hear that!
Here are some pics of the small "dolley" I got at a garage sale for $2. I don't know it's original use but I knew what I was going to do with it the minute I saw it. Here it is on top of my tractor so you can see the shape and angle of the handle.
This is my tractor 5 ft wide by 8 ft long and a pic of the rear wheels ( .25 at a different garage sale). The rear is barely above the ground as most of our place relatively flat (unless the moles are busy).]
Here is the dolley in place. The bottom frame is a 2 x 4 ripped in half so an almost 2x2 and you can see the small size of the wheel in comparison to it. I have a rope tied to the bottom, front corner that I pulled the tractor with before I got the dolley. Now I use the dolley in front so I don't have to lift and pull.
When I had my cornish x last year it was difficult to move the pen with them in it because they wouldn't want to move along. I'm using it as a grow out pen for some young birds right now and move the pen when I let them out to free range. Would love to see scuba's chicken prod or anyone else's ideas for moving without trapping birds. I know the higher versions allow for birds to just go through but I'd like to avoid catching and replacing them if possible.
