Our private 55 acre lake in Carrollton, GA 30117 is heavily forested, but doesn’t provide much in the way of food for wildlife. Any suggestions on plants, trees, or seed mixes for encourage waterfowl habitat would be much appreciated.

As long as it's fine in your area, i would introduce some duckweed into the pond. the ducks will like it. if the plant does start to get out of control, you can scoop some out. Best of luck! Maybe you can also try some watercress along the edges of the water.

Heres a couple articles for ya! Stick with plants native to your area though that you dont have on your land but attract waterfowl so you dont introduce something that will become invasive and we see ya on the invasive watch list lol
Great article. Yet I still don’t know where to get much of these water loving plants. Our like floods in the winter, but water level isn’t controlled easily. Mostly dependent on rainfall.
