Plants for quail pen

I have a quail pen and wondering what kind of plants quail like to eat.

Quail will eat just about anything. Weeds, grass, seeds, etc.
A quail will love lettuce and other greens especially. Just try things out! Every bird enjoys different things

I actually made a Pinterest board of plants for my quail garden! Anything that makes smaller seeds or offers cover.

They love to eat Swiss Chard, alfalfa and clover. So try growing some in pots then you can rotate them before they eat them past the point of recovery.
