Plants inside of coops

Just a thought…has anyone ever found any plants to plant INSIDE a coop? Their new coop will provide a couple of grazing boxes, swings, a jungle gym, covered area, and, of course, toys and treats!

I was wondering about any shade plants that might spruce it up. I may just keep a supply of flower pots growing in the greenhouse to swap out fun and tasty treats for them. Any suggestions and recommendations are welcomed! Thank you.

I bet you could grow Chick's Mix forage mix in low flower pots and swap them out. I bet they'd love it. We got our seed mix from Amazon.

You could also just burn your money....

Jokes aside, if you do add plants it would have to be something too big for them to destroy and it would have to be protected -including the area around the roots 'cause it would a prime dust bathing spot. Anything else would be destroyed in a quick and timely manner
