Now I'm sure I'm not the only one who read about paper or plastic in BY poultry and I had intended to write a comment on it. I figured they read BYC and if they don't they have no clue, the feed companies that is.
I do recycle both paper and plastic bags but now that I think of it ,it's not good for the chickens to scratch in the garden where I use plastic to mulch around my raised beds. So with that thought I think paper is better as it can be recycle in many ways. I also could use paper to fill with shredded documents and cereal boxes and stuff like that, that gets put out for the trash men.
Or if you ship and can turn the paper inside out you can use it to wrap the packages so there is no writing except for the addresses and no chance or less of a chance for the PO to screw things up.
Maybe we should start a what and how do you recycle thread. Right now I have a broken wagon but the wheels are good and I thought they could be recycled for a chicken tractor.
My brain is like my computer never off, but still gets full of spam and viruses. Lord have mercy!
