Plastic leg bands or metal?

I use zip ties and haven't any problem other than them being able to get the darn things off themselves. I know I get them off fine (toenail clippers)but the girls have sometimes been able to get them off when there wasn't any room to slide them off. Thank goodness different breeds and different colors allows me to identify who is needing another and if she is the same rotten creature I have to keep putting one on. There is one girl here that refuses to wear one!

I like plastic bands and put them on at birth of the chicks.

glad i seen this my parrots i have banded and i want to band my chickens too makes it easier to keep track of each bird by doing this.
i dont care for the metal my self the plastic are very easy to put on.

what size do you suggest for full grown buff orp??
