My inexpert opinion is that the one on the left side of the photo is a little pullet and that the chick on the right hand side of the photo is a little cockerel.

I could handle that! I would like to make some more so that would be perfect!

Their combs haven't gotten much bigger but they still fight like crazy!

I am hoping not but probably! They have pretty small combs but one is starting to turn reddish so maybe one of each. I HOPE!!!!

Well my husband just came home and said this morning at the butt crack of dawn one of them was crowing...or trying to. He said it sounded like a hawk screech lol. Scared the heck out of him, the dog, and the cats. (They are in the living room in a crate at night still) So I have decided to embrace the idea of little Viking chicken roos. Then if I am wrong it will be a geat suprise! So meet little Ragnar and Floki!

My polish roos showed pretty quick. Chest bumping all through, dread lock feathers and crowing by 8-9 weeks
