I am excited (and exhausted), but the coop and run are ready for getting our 4 pullets tomorrow. Too dark for pics tonight, so I will have to post pics in the morning.

Paint is still drying, but linoleum, bedding, nest material, food and water are ready to go in tomorrow morning....

How long should I contain the chooks inside the run/coop so they know it's their new "home". Wish us luck picking nice chickies tomorrow morning!

Congrats and I can hardly wait to see the pics! I never do anything the right way so I just put them in at night, close the door, turn them loose in the morning and then herd them in at night for a couple of nights and they've always figured it out. I've never locked them for a days at a time.

You get a prize for getting your coop ready FIRST and getting your chickens SECOND! Now the fun starts!

I am currently working on a playhouse for my sebrights plus some others I am getting tomorrow. Lol It is not that close to done. I have quite a bit to do but if I kick it in turbo today, I should get almost everything done. lol I just wont get the hardwood flooring in!
